Precautions for the use of bucket elevators
During operation, the principles of starting without load and stopping without load must be followed. That is to say, start the machine first, wait until the operation is normal, and then empty the material in the machine before feeding and stopping.
When working, the feed should be even and the discharge pipe should be smooth to avoid clogging. If there is a blockage, the feed should be stopped immediately and the machine should be stopped, and the machine base plug-in plate should be opened to remove the blockage. Note that you cannot directly reach into the base with your hands at this time.
During normal operation, the hopper belt should be in the middle of the barrel. If deviation is found or the bucket belt is too loose, causing collision and friction between the hopper and the barrel, it should be adjusted in time through the tensioning device.
Strictly prevent large foreign objects from entering the machine base to avoid damaging the hopper and affecting the normal operation of the bucket elevator. When conveying materials that have not been initially cleaned, an iron grid should be installed at the feed inlet to prevent fibrous impurities such as straw, wheat straw, and rope from entering the machine base and causing entanglement and blockage. , The tension of the elevator hopper belt should be checked regularly, and whether the connection between the hopper and the hopper belt is firm. If looseness, falling off, skewing or damage of the hopper are found, it should be repaired or replaced in time to avoid more serious consequences.
If a sudden shutdown occurs, the accumulated materials in the machine base should be discharged before starting the machine.
